The fine print, in plain language
Cancellation & refund policy
Mountains demand flexibility from all of us. This policy exists so that both sides know exactly where they stand before money changes hands. By booking a DevTrails experience, you agree to the terms below.
Cancellation timeline
The refund you receive depends on how far before the trek start date you cancel.
Emergency medical & injury cases
Emergency refund requests may be considered in cases such as:
- Hospitalization
- Fractures or ligament injuries
- Medically unfit conditions such as typhoid, dengue, COVID-19, etc.
- Death or critical emergency in the immediate family
Valid supporting medical documents are mandatory.
DevTrails reserves the right to verify all submitted documents before approving emergency refunds.
Weather & force majeure
Treks operate in remote mountain environments and may be impacted by:
- Weather conditions
- Landslides
- Road blockages
- Government restrictions
- Natural disasters
- Other unforeseen circumstances
In such cases, itineraries may change, departures may shift, or treks may be cancelled in the interest of safety.
